Windy Corner, located in Wasilla, Alaska, started off as an outdoor & climbing equipment retail store in 1992. Today, we carry the largest selection of Dansko Comfort Shoes, and we're proud to be Alaska's first Vibram FiveFinger Shoes retailer. Dansko shoes are well-known for the "materials and construction carefully selected to promote good foot, leg and back health," while boasting a variety of stylish collections and designs. Vibram FiveFingers shoes have taken the world by storm, promoting the 'barefoot' running and fitness movement; their shoes allow your feet to "move and work in a completely natural way, while providing grip and protection over a variety of surfaces."
Our legacy has been to carry only the finest products, whether quality climbing equipment, Danskos, or Vibrams -- unique items that are not easily found elsewhere.
We are located right on Wasilla Lake, at 990 E. Westpoint Drive, off of Crusey Street. We are open Monday through Saturday, 10AM - 7PM. Customer relations is our forte, so feel free to come by anytime to browse, shop, and enjoy the gorgeous view! We hope to see you soon.
